Sage ACT! 2012 brought with it many great new features to increase productivity and help you keep organised wherever you are.

ACT! Scratchpad

The Scratchpad is a very handy little tool that runs separately from ACT! itself and acts as a form of To-Do list. It allows you to quickly jot down things as you think of them, highlight them or mark them as complete. The real benefit of The Scratchpad is its integration with ACT!, once you have created an item in the Scratchpad you can then turn that item into  an Activity, History or Note item in ACT! and attach it to a contact or company.

Google Integration

ACT! can now sync your Calendar and Contacts with your Google account, allowing you to access your information from anywhere. Another big benefit of this is then being able to sync your Google Calendar and Contacts with your Android Phone or Tablet device, keeping your database with you wherever you go.

Universal Search

Have you ever felt that the search function in ACT! is too restricted, forcing you to search in particular fields? Universal Search is your answer. Universal Search allows you to type in the term you wish to look for and it will search your entire database, including the file names of documents attached to the database.

ACT! Connect

Sage ACT! on your mobile phone, ACT! Connect allows you to sync your Calendar and Contacts with you Mobile Phone or Tablet device, giving you access to your database on the move. Not all devices are supported, though there is a handy list of supported devices on Sage’s website. Many Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Android devices are supported. If your device does not support syncing with ACT! Connect, it may still support the ACT! Connect Web Portal.
